During the 1st to 3rd centuries AD, Christians encountered intense hostility from Roman Government authorities. To discreetly identify fellow believers in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, they used a simple symbol: a fish drawn in the dirt to ascertain each other’s faith.
The 1st believer would sketch an arc in the dirt. The other would complete the fish with their arc, communicating their beliefs - hidden from Roman persecution. .
Fast forward 14 centuries, and the persecution of those sharing the Truth continues.
